In the heart of downtown Alamosa, a peaceful space awaits you!  Open Skies Acupuncture is located on the southwest corner of 4th & State Avenue, where you will find a waiting area, restroom, our community treatment room, and a private treatment room. Our acupunture clinic offers a breadth of Oriental medical modalities, including acupuncture, Asian bodywork, cupping, moxibustion, and Chinese medical herbalism.  Please see our Services page for a complete description of what we offer.

Community Acupuncture

Community Acupuncture is our specialty! As you enter our clinic, you will notice something different – we have a community treatment room with comfortable recliners arranged in a circle. Community Acupuncture is a growing movement that allows us to treat several people at once, which keeps the cost down for our patients. Come experience it for yourself and see what all the talk is about! Not convinced? Check out our “What to Expect” page to learn more about it!

Insurance Coverage

Unfortunately insurance is not accepted at this time. If your insurance company covers acupuncture, we can provide you with a bill to submit to them. Contact your insurance provider to see if they will cover complementary therapies such as acupuncture.

Herbal Prescriptions

Herbs and herbal formula prescriptions are charged separately from treatments. If your condition would benefit from an herbal prescription, an appropriate Chinese medical formula will be created for you.
